Egyptian Blue Bowls

The deep Lapis color is achieved by combining Vanadium with pure quartz crystal. Each bowl is unique - the color variation and intensity are an unrepeatable blend of art and sonic healing. Lapis is the stone of "total awareness" and these wonderful bowls have a fullness of sound that helps connect us to the wisdom of the Ancient Ones.

The Egyptian Blue Bowls were inspired by a quartz Faience Bowl from the 13th Dynasty Thebes, Egypt. Faience is the oldest artificial substance, first made in Egypt 5,500 years ago, a millennium before glass was invented. It has a core of powdered quartz particles that are fused together with heat (much like the crystal singing bowls of today), and covered over with a glaze. This bowl is from the Myers Museum Collection at Eton College.
